Going to open houses by ourselves was very stressful but when David became our realtor, he made the process much more enjoyable. Our story:
At first we were looking for our first home by ourselves without a realtor when we realized how complicated and stressful it could be, we decided to hire a realtor, David Shin. David took the time to understand our vision and began shortlisting houses for us right away. He came to open houses with us, chatted up the listing realtor, and got all the important information for every house. I remember one house we viewed had a possible structural defect with the roof, which David quickly inquired about, something we could have easily overlooked. The bidding process on the house we ended up purchasing was a gong show as we beat out 30 other offers. While ours was not the highest bid, David strategically got a private viewing before the open house which allowed us to get a home inspection completed during the open house. From this, we had an edge going into the offers without any subjects. We could not have gotten this house without David’s help.
